Gantry Cranes

Ideal for outdoor use or where existing building structures are not suitable for bridge cranes

Excel gantry cranes are available in both single and double girder format and full gantry or semi gantry. This type of crane design is well suited for outdoor applications where lifting facilities are provided without the cost of a building or any supporting steelwork. They are also widely used for indoor applications where existing building structures are not suitable for supporting overhead cranes and where additional supporting steelwork would result in a loss of floor area, in many cases they offer the most economical lifting solution.

Gantry cranes may be constructed with cantilevers to allow product handling outside of the rails centers for maximum flexibility. Typical applications for this type of crane include steel stock yards and loading areas, precast concrete stock yards and loading areas and for ship and boat building assembly areas.
